IDCTA Grant Program
About the IDCTA Grant Program
The IDCTA Board of Directors has established two grant programs, an Individual Grant Program to support members in attending clinics and a Clinic Affiliation Program that supports barns in holding clinics. Our Grant Program for our membership provides tuition for clinics in the area. They can be barn clinics with known trainers, whether IDCTA, USEA, USDF or USEF-sanctioned. The grant can be $200-$400 or the cost of the clinic tuition (whichever is less) and will be voted on by the board. In return, IDCTA asks that the recipient of the grant write a detailed article about the clinic for the next issue of The Scribe. The link to apply is below with further qualifications and information.
In order to encourage area barns to put on clinics to provide education opportunities for our members, we are establishing the Clinic Affiliation Program to support barns who are giving clinics. We would like to be able to work with a few barns like yours on 2 clinics per year. We will subsidize the barn with $100 to offset a small portion of the clinic cost and provide a rider subsidy of $400 per clinic for riders who are IDCTA members. If there are 4 IDCTA member riders, each rider would receive $100, if there are more than 4, each rider would receive a portion of the $400 (i.e., if a clinic had 6 riders who were IDCTA members, each would receive $66). Each rider would be limited to 2 subsidies per year. The link to apply is below and includes further qualifications and information.
