Instructed by Meg Dischler and Cheyenne Lutz of Dressage Solutions Llc.
We are proud to offer a four week introductory camp focused on Adults who have interest in
getting into horses! We will offer a youth camp in the near future. Our Camp will be foundation
focused and will provide you the tools to pursue horses regardless of discipline. Our farm is
Dressage based and our values surrounding horsemanship and the equestrian lifestyle will
reflect Classical Dressage horsemanship. Our goal by the end is to have given you enough
information so that you can safely and confidently decide if horses are for you!
Our curriculum looks like this:
Week One: Safety around horses, basic grooming, and every day equipment. Breed discussion
for the week will be Lusitanos.
Week Two: Basic horse handling and leading, barn safety and lunging. Breed discussion for the
week will be Lipizzans.
Week Three: Introduction to riding and ridden equipment, including a riding demonstration.
Breed discussion for the week will be Warmbloods.
Week Four: Basic veterinary care, nutrition and farrier work. Breed discussion for the week will
be Friesians and we will talk about other breeds we do not have on property.
Individual Private Lesson: After completion of the four week course, each participant can then
schedule their individual included private lesson.
*Participants in the course can then take advantage of special pricing on a 5 package of
individual lessons*
These sessions will be held the first four Thursdays in October 2025 (10/2, 10/9, 10/16,
10/23) from 6:00pm-8:00pm. This will include a healthy dinner meal and basic beverages.
Investment for this course is $400 for the four weeks. Payments, signed entry forms and liability
release forms are due before the end of the day on September 21st, 2025 at 11:59 PM. We
request that you attend each and every session as this is non-refundable and the information
compounds upon itself.
The sessions will be held half inside and half in the barn, so we do request that you dress
appropriately for the Fall weather in Wisconsin. This could include hats and scarves and gloves,
to just a tee-shirt and jeans. Closed toe shoes are a requirement and you will not be allowed in
the barn without them. This means absolutely no sandals or crocs. Boots with a heel are our
preferred shoe of choice.
