Membership Application
Electronic membership capability for new members and those renewing is now available at this time. If you are joining IDCTA for the first time, please scroll down to the buttons below and choose your membership type.

Benefits of Memberships
Community
When you join IDCTA you get the support of other equine enthusiasts both in person and virtually. As a member you will also receive access to the monthly SCRIBE newsletter and are able to submit educational articles to be published and shared.
Education
IDCTA’s barn affiliation program and zoom educational events allow access to valuable knowledge from clinicians at every level of the sport, such as Olympians, professional saddle fitters, veterinarians with specialty experiences, and more.
Recognition
Membership also allows competitors to compete for year-end awards in Eventing and Mini Eventing, as well as speciality awards for the Thoroughbred Incentive Program.
Financial Benefits
Membership discounts for IDCTA sponsored events, as well as all USDF GMO membership discounts. IDCTA members also recieve discounts through our barn affiliation program and access to a grant program for participation in non IDCTA affiliated clinics.
GMO Membership
As part of the IDCTA membership, you will receive a GMO Membership (Group Member Organization) in USDF. If you are new to IDCTA and USDF, this is a number that you can use for recognized shows sponsored by USDF that you sign-up for. If you are a renewing member, your IDCTA and USDF numbers will be renewed in each system. If you choose to compete in the Regional Competitions at the end of the show year or wish to be considered for USDF year-end awards, you must also purchase a Participation Membership. The number is the same for both GMO and Participation Membership categories.
Membership Fees
Regular Membership
$70 Annually
Includes an annual electronic subscription to the Scribe available at IDCTA.org, one vote in annual elections, discounted participation in select IDCTA sponsored activities and a USDF Group membership*.
Young Rider Membership
$55 Annually
For those members who will not have reached their 22nd birthday before January 1, 2025. Same benefits as regular members.
Junior Rider Membership
$45 Annually
For those members who will not have reached their 17th birthday before January 1, 2025. Same benefits as regular members, with the exception of voting privileges.
Business Membership
$175 Annually
Entitles a business to ONE IDCTA Regular, Junior Rider or Young Rider membership. $60 of advertising in the Scribe, a link to your website from IDCTA’s website and an entry into the Business Directory with your logo and a summary of your business offerings. You can also advertise your events on the IDCTA website calendar, and request E-Blasts be sent out to the IDCTA email list. Once you have signed up as a business, your application will be sent to the web administrator and you will be sent a questionnaire to build your directory page. This is a great way to advertise your business.
